The reigning king of one-man shows on the Broadway stage, Jackie Mason brings his farewell tour to Los Angeles for the last stop prior to opening in New York. It's Jackie's 9th one-man comedy tour de force, entitled JACKIE MASON: THE ULTIMATE JEW – The Farewell Performances. This week, West LA's wonderful Wadsworth will be the epicenter of Jewish humor as mirthmaker Mason's monologue makes March merry for 5 performances only.
About JACKIE MASON: THE ULTIMATE JEW - The Farewell Performances
Jackie will once again be skewering public figures and interpreting current events with his unique brand of side-splitting hilarity. If it's in the news, it's in the show. "I am excited about getting back to what I do best and what my audience likes best," said Mason. "I am writing new jokes every day and soon I'll be telling them every night. Just me ... one Jew talking and that's it."
Sounds like Mr. Mason's new show could have been subtitled The Return of the King of Comedy. The show runs March 5 - 9, 2008. Running Time: 90 Minutes. Parental Advisory: for mature audiences.

BUZZ MUSIC: "TWO LIPS: THE LOST ALBUM" (aka HOMER'S BEATLES HOMAGE)
"TWO LIPS: THE LOST ALBUM" is the brainchild of The Simpsons' voiceover star Dan Castellaneta. Premise: what if you discovered a lost Beatles album circa 1967, chock full of pop gems? This would be it!
I just heard some tracks from "Two Lips" on Chris Carter's "Breakfast with the Beatles" show this morning. Great stuff! March on over to SpiralFrog (or Amazon or other music sites) and take "Two Lips" for a spin. Lovers of great pop music (especially The Beatles and The Rutles) will not be disappointed ("Dog Chasing a Ball" and "Disillusion Street" being two great tracks highlighted on BWTB today).

MAR. 1: FREE HOTDOGS AT PINKS (GET IN THE PINK!)
A source tells The LA Report that PINKs, the legendary hot dog stand on La Brea just north of Melrose, is giving the first 500 customers on March 1st a FREE HOTDOG. Same source says this is all courtesy of the FARRELLY BROTHERS. A TV show promo, perhaps?
All we know is, here is your chance to get in the pink when you get into Pinks. Just don't blame us if the line is 500 strong when you get there. (Advice: early bird gets the 'dog.)
