Shakespeare Festival/LA (SF/LA) presents the 2009 Simply Shakespeare adaptation of “The Comedy of Errors” under the direction of Ben Donenberg, Founding Artistic Director, SF/LA. Every spring, some of today's finest actors donate their time to participate in a staged reading of a Shakespearean comedy. As of this writing, the 2009 reading of “The Comedy of Errors” is set to star Rita Wilson, Tom Hanks, Kelsey Grammar, Christina Applegate, Martin Short, Shirley Jones, Peter Graves, Arte Johnson and Eugene Levy!

Co-chaired by Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks, this annual tradition raises awareness and funds in support of much needed programs. It would indeed be an error not to attend "The Comedy of Errors." Plus, as if you needed another reason to go, there will be a very special musical performer: Alanis Morissette!

If you love Shakespeare, comedy, readings, SCTV, Alanis, or just have a hankering for Hanks, you should attend. And if you don't: well, there may be something wrong with you (and going to this stellar event may cure it!).
