Celebs Come Out to Support Vital Cause at Face Forward Kick Off Party; Star-Studded Face Forward Gala To Be Held September 15 in Beverly Hills

Below is a recap of the recently held Face Forward Kick Off Party, a prelude to Face Forward's upcoming star-studded gala that will take place this September. Face Forward is an incredible cause, helping patients who have endured a terrible nightmare and survived, showing tremendous courage and strength. While most of us have been enjoying a summer vacation, survivors Saundra, Mirabel, Michelle and Anna have spent their summer commuting back and forth to the doctor's office to complete a series of dramatic facial reconstructive surgeries, which they have been undergoing in the aftermath of severe domestic violence. With the help of Face Forward, these patients are getting a new lease on life. Deborah Alessi, Founder of Face Forward, is truly an angel for the work she does.

The Face Forward Kick Off Party was a huge success as it brought out a large crowd of current supporters as well as new ones. Linda Thompson and Lisa Gasineau were among the celebrity guests that come to show their support at the party, which took place on July 26th at the fabulous Unici Casa in Culver City, hosted by Face Forward Founder Deborah Alessi. (Event photos below.)

Face Forward will hold its 3rd Annual Gala on September 15th at The Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Tom Arnold & Bonnie Somerville will host.

About Face Forward (www.facela.net):
-
Renowned plastic surgeon and biochemist David Alessi and his wife Deborah Alessi, CEO of Alessi Skincare, founded Face Forward in 2007. Face Forward is a 501(c) non-profit organization. The organization provides facial surgical reconstructive services for women and children who have been victims of violence through gang or domestic violence. The organization vows to offer each victim with the best possible treatment pro bono. Since its creation, Face Forward has worked with community leaders around the nation to identify victims of violence who are legitimately working toward recovery and who carry the physical evidence of past abuse. Face Forward is only one humble part of the recovery puzzle, however, the immediate results of its healing efforts provide individuals with the confidence to literally put their best “face forward” once again.
