AUG 18: Free Industry Seminars at Woodbury University

Free Industry Seminars at Woodbury University The Burbank International Film Festival in association with Woodbury University presents a "Day of Industry Seminars & Workshops". Parking Instructions, Enter the First Gate EAST of the University and drive up the hill to the Parking Lot. Saturday August 18th 10:00am – 7:00pm. All Seminars and Workshops are Free to the Public. Visit the website for the Schedule. www.burbankfilmfestival.org The day will consist of a series of Industry panels and screenings in Woodbury Universities state-of-the-art 250 seat auditorium. Workshops will also take place in multiple classrooms. This years Seminars will include award-winning industry professionals including Writers, Directors, Producers, Casting Directors, Special Effects Artists, Editors, Animators, Stunt Performers and Sound Mixers. There will be an exciting panel with award-winning special effects artists who’s work can be seen in such films as the “Dark Knight” trilogy, “Thor”, “Titanic" Clash of the Titans”, “Tron Legacy”, “Terminator” and “Star Wars” to name a few. There will be a panel with Casting Directors and a Commercial Casting Workshop with Mariko Ballentine who’s client list includes: McDonalds, Pepsi, Toyota, Chevy, Proctor & Gamble, ABC, FOX, NBC, CBS, Budweiser and Disneyland. Wrapping up the day will be a special screening of award-winning short films from the International Cinematographers Guild, showcasing ten of the top Cinematographers in the world.
