The American Wine and Food Festival (AWFF), one of LA's most treasured annual events, returns this weekend to its annual home with ticket holders anticipating another extraordinary evening under the stars for a great cause. One of America’s premier culinary events, AWFF will once again feature many of the world's top chefs and leading wine and spirit purveyors on the beautifully lighted backlot of Universal Studios. On the evening of September 25, 2010, a pantheon of food and beverage stars will exercise their considerable talents for the enjoyment of over 2,700 food and wine enthusiasts. The opportunity to sample exceptional dishes prepared by an internationally acclaimed group of chefs will be accompanied by live music, dancing, and a silent auction.
Festival attendees will taste some of the most exciting, unique and distinctive flavors found anywhere, complemented by the finest wines and spirits. The environment is electric, and the backlot is the perfect setting as the sun sets on Universal's sets and you meet fellow foodies and wine aficionados having the time of your life. This is hands down the best LA food and wine event each year. Don't miss it!
Those who attend this Los Angeles tradition will raise a celebratory glass in support of the Meals On Wheels Programs of Los Angeles. Since its inception in 1982, this Puck-Lazaroff Charitable Foundation event has raised more than $15 million for the Meals On Wheels Programs of Los Angeles, which serve thousands of meals each day to Los Angeles’ homebound, senior and disabled citizens.
You are cordially invited to join fellow Angelenos in support of a great cause and a most memorable evening.
