MAR. 7: GEN ART PRESENTS THE NEW GARDE, ANNUAL EVENT KICKING OFF LA FASHION WEEK

Gen Art invites you to the 5th Anniversary of their excellent annual event called "The New Garde" - their fashion extravaganza that has become an annual tradition - the big kickoff event for Los Angeles Fashion Week. This year, Gen Art brings the event back to The Park Plaza Hotel located at 607 S. Park View Street near downtown Los Angeles. The schedule for the evening:

Friday, March 7th
7:00pm-8:00pm: Pre-Reception
8:00pm-10:00pm: Live Model Presentations
10:00pm-11:00pm: After-Party

Gen Art's "The New Garde" is a fashion presentation featuring the Fall collections of three emerging designers each showcased in separate customized installations with live models wearing looks from each designer. This program has launched the careers of avant-garde designers including Jeffrey Sebelia and Kit Pistol (both of "Project Runway" fame), Geren Ford and FORM by Jerry Tam.
