Los Angeles-based artists, stylists, architects, and designers on the rise made their way to Los Angeles Magazine recently to audition for the publication's panel of judges. The Style Star of Tomorrow contest is in celebration of the magazine's Tastemakers, an exhibition of works by the city's most exciting influencers in fashion, design, and the arts taking place at Hollywood and Highland from March 19th through 30th.
Mollie Culligan, creative director and owner of The Jack Rabbit Collection, is this year's winner of Los Angeles Magazine's contest. Entirely self-taught, Mollie grew The Jack Rabbit Collection from a small home office operation to an award-winning collection carried in the world’s finest retailers such as Selfridges, Barneys, and Ron Herman and worn by select clientele such as Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, and Agyness Deyn, among others. The line is featured regularly in WWD, Elle, InStyle, Vogue JP, Glamour, Lucky, and Marie Claire.
Jack Rabbit’s creative undercurrents surge from Mollie’s life ethic of constant flight, obsessive submersion, and creative play. In constant travel, total wonder, and immersion, she commits to a life of redefining the lines, breaking bounds, and appreciating the beauty of subtlety.
