Of course, while it may be free for all, it may become a free-for-all, since lines were scheduled to start forming at 9am. The LA Report was told that bypass-the-line passes were/are available IF you buy Ringo's fine new Capitol/EMI album, "Liverpool 8," at Amoeba Records in Hollywood (up to 2 passes per customer). KLOS FM (95.5 fm) has also been giving away passes, at various times. Beatle fans, rejoice! Doors are scheduled to open at 11am, with a 1pm start time for Mr. Starkey. His set also includes his new producer mate Dave Stewart (who gained fame in the dynamic duo Eurythmics).

The official Ringo Starr website says:

Ringo Starr & Dave Stewart and band will perform a short set of Ringo's songs LIVE at an exclusive event celebrating the release of Ringo's new Capitol/EMI album, Liverpool 8! WHEN & WHERE: 1pm PST on Friday, January 25 at Los Angeles' House Of Blues on Sunset Blvd. & LIVE webcast on Ringo's official site. We hope you can join us for the free LIVE webcast HERE at Ringo Starr's official site: www.ringostarr.com! Pick up Ringo's new album in stores NOW or order online! Log on to the site on Friday for the 1pm PT (4pm ET) LIVE webcast of Ringo's Liverpool 8 celebration!
